Every Hair on Your Head

Every Hair on Your Head

Since life originating by chance is statistically impossible astronomer John Barrow and mathematical physicist Frank Tipler were forced to conclude that there must be an intelligence that created life. Unwilling to accept the biblical creator they hypothesized that life may evolve to such an advanced degree that it will become an all knowing all powerful omnipresent god that then may be able to create life in the past… No I’m not making this up.

“Unwilling to accept the biblical creator”; it’s a view knows as diest… what’s your point about hair?

Barrow and Tippler wrote the book, ‘The Anthropic Cosmological Principle’ in 1986.

In it they explained the ‘Goldilocks principle’ which Creditaction has alluded to a number of times. ie. That the fundamental properties of the universe are perfect for it and the life within it to form. However if just one of these properties were just slightly different, then the universe would collapse in on itself and wouldn’t exist.

The Anthropic Principle, in its simplest form though merely states that we are able to see how unlikely it is that the universe exists purely because we are lucky enough to be in a universe that exists. There are, or were, or could have been an infinite number of universes that weren’t ‘lucky’ and so are either empty or simply don’t exist, but we have no way of knowing about them. This is just simple maths.
For example, imagine that the world was going to end and there was a lottery to pick two people to sent off to a new planet to start again. The two winners of the lottery would know how lucky they were.
But if the two winners had their memories wiped as they were blasted off into space, they would not know how lucky they were. They would arrive on the new planet having no idea that they were the only two survivors from a race of seven billion. They exist simply because they are lucky enough to exist.

The last few chapters of the book though, speculate on the idea that billions of years in the future, the evolved human race tries to avoid the heat death of the universe.

In later books, Tipping expounds on his theories of the final moment of the universe which he calls, ‘The Omega Point’ or ‘God’.
This is where the future consciousness of humanity, (or God) creates the Big Bang so that humanity can exist. .

Tipping is a Christian and believer in the Trinity of the Father, (The Omega Point), the Son, (Time), and the Holy Spirit, (The Big Bang).

He has explanations for all of Jesus’ miracles and below he explains how Jesus walked on water…

“If Jesus had a mass of 178 pounds, or about 80.8 kilograms (I shall justify this mass below), then the force that must be exerted to support his weight against the force of gravity is F = Mg = (80.8 kg)(9.80 m/sec2) = 792 newtons. But the force is the momentum p carried away by the neutrinos per unit time, and for nearly massless particles like neutrinos, the momentum equals the energy divided by the speed of light. But if the energy of the neutrinos comes from the annihilation of matter, then this energy equals the mass of the matter annihilated times the speed of light squared (E = mc2). Thus p/t = (E/c)/t = (mc2/c)/t = mc/t = Mg. Thus the amount of mass that must be annihilated per second, or m/t, must equal Mg/c = (792 newtons)/(3.00 × 108 m/sec) = 2.64 milligrams per second. Thus if the field responsible for converting matter into neutrinos extends a short distance into the water below Jesus’ feet, and if this field is capable directing all the neutrinos downward, Jesus would walk on water. Or Ascend into the clouds after His resurrection).”

The fact that Tipping is right and that humanity is God and God is humanity is explicit in the Bible as can be seen in the following quotes…

    – We are gods: John 10:34 (Jesus is quoting Psalm 82:6).
    – We are God and God is us: Matthew 25:31-46.
    – We live inside of God: Acts 17:24-28.
    – God is everything and inside of everything: Colossians 3:11; Jeremiah 23:24.
    – We are members in the body of Christ: Romans 12:4,5; 1 Corinthians 6:15-19; 12:12-27; Ephesians 4:25.
    – We are one in Christ: Galatians 3:28.
    – God is all: Ephesians 1:23; 4:4-6.
    – God is light: 1 John 1:5; John 8:12.
    – We have existed before the foundation of the world: Matthew 25:34; Luke 1:70; 11:50; Ephesians 1:4; 2 Timothy 1:9; Isaiah 40:21.
    – Jesus has existed before the foundation of the world: John 17:24; Revelation 13:8.
    – The reality of multiple worlds: Hebrews 1:1,2; 11:3.
    – God is the son of man: Matthew 8:20; 9:6; 10:23; 11:19; 12:18; 12:32; 12:40; 13:37; 13:41; 16:13; 16:27,28; 17:9; 17:12; 17:22; 18:11; 19:28; 20:18; 20:28; 24:27; 24:30; 24:37; 24:39; 24:44; 25:13; 25:31; 26:2; 26:24; 26:45; 26:64. (This is just listing how many times Jesus referred to Himself as the Son of Man in the Gospel of Matthew, although He refers to Himself as this throughout the Gospels. It was the favourite phrase that He used to refer to Himself.)

  6. Your hermeneutic is so wrong it would be difficult to know where to start. Twist scripture as much as you like to prove a false assumption. The mormons, JWs, Roman Catholics, even muslims do it. Hey, I reckon you may know just enough bible to start your own cult. You need to repent. In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge not in man made ideas and philosophies. You are a person who puts the life of a human being below that of a dog. I take it you value the legal strictures that protect your life from murderers and yet you would hold to these beliefs. Repent Chris for you are in grave peril.

It makes no difference to God if I was a serial killer or just took the Lord’s name in vain, once in my life. His punishment for me would be the same.
Am I in graver peril than someone who swore once? No, I’m not. What could be graver than eternal damnation?

As for starting my own cult, you were the one that brought up the subject of Tipler’s views, not me. Although I’m really not sure what point you were trying to make. (Christians are mental perhaps?)

Also what was your point about the hair? Or the little boy on the beach for that matter? Or indeed, anything you say, ever.

  8. Great questions thank you. Here’s the point. Christ is who he said he was and did what he came to do. He would save you this day were you to turn to him in repentance and faith. However, there is bad news. The bible says that you are spiritually dead and dead people cannot respond to any stimulant, least of all Christ’s call to repent. Your only hope is that God will grant you the gift of repentance 2 tim 2:25. Only then will be absurdity of mankind’s theories become apparent and you might acknowledge the God you already know and yet suppress the truth by your unrighteousness, see Romans 1:18. Thank you for your contributions.

  9. Given the choice of the Creator who provided reason or the absurdity of man’s vain philosophies most choose absurdity. Why is that? The bible explains it is because they hate God. People then invest their time and talents on blogs declaring their unbelieving vanity and exposing what the bible calls foolishness. ‘Only the fool believes in his heart there is no God’, Psalm 14 and 53. What is my epistemological authority for making that truth claim? God, ‘for in Him are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge Colossians’, 2:3. What authority does the unbeliever have? None, other than their own fallible senses and reasoning so they have to borrow from the Christian worldview even to engage in the debate. What’s the solution for them? Repentance and faith in the one true and living God, Jesus Christ, the one who died to save them, ‘while we were still sinners Christ died for us’, Romans 5:8.
